Zillow Would Not Purchase Their Home
The Esser's had a deal with Zillow to purchase their home. They moved ahead and put a contract on a home in North Carolina where they were moving to be closer to aging parents. The wife also signed a contract for a teaching position. Once Covid-19 happened, Zillow and similar programs started backing out of their contracts to purchase properties. The Esser's soon received an email from Zillow saying they would no longer be purchasing their property. That's when the husband reached out to our Listing & Buyers Specialist, Diane Ingenito, about getting their home listed. She was more than happy to list their home that same day and in turn help them on their way to North Carolina. We listed their home on a Friday at lunchtime, and were under contract that evening. A few short weeks later, they were able to move to North Carolina and into the home they had originally had the offer on.
The Esser's were very appreciative that we sold their house quickly, had a smooth transaction with no bumps along the way and were able to continue with their plans of moving to North Carolina.
